“Queen Barbara’s” Gingerbread

Crumbly butter gingerbread biscuits with honey, old-fashioned spices and dried lavender, rose and pansy petals – like a dessert letter from Barbara from the 16th century. Entirely edible. And much tastier than any “historical source”.

The packaging idea and drawings are by Julija Janus, and the design by Petras Saulėnas, combining royal elegance, floral melancholy and a very clear message: these gingerbread biscuits are a legend.

Perfect as a gift, for an evening in a royal mood or as an exceptional souvenir from Lithuania. A taste that lives up to the legend. Or at least spares you from having to read Queen Barbara’s biography.
