Kings’ Goblets | 2 pcs

When a goblet becomes a glance, and ceramics—the language of love. Two goblets, two people—a gift for a couple who appreciate art and history. Amid the silence, laughter, and secret trysts of Barbara Radziwiłł and Sigismund Augustus—it’s all here, in the black clay and the graceful sculptural form.

The exterior is dark—black clay—while the interior reveals an unexpected flash of orange. Like a spark of fire at a Renaissance banquet, or Barbara’s dress if she were to attend a contemporary art exhibition today.

The shape of the goblets is subtly theatrical, like an old love scene that still feels like a premiere. And yes, there are two of them—because even for a king, a single goblet is a lonely thing.
