LRT.lt – Julija Janus: Barbara Radziwiłł is a rock star, yet we fail to make use of her legend’s sex appeal

The exhibition “Slapta meilė” by interdisciplinary artist Julija Janus at Vilnius Town Hall brings to life the most beautiful love story of Vilnius. It is almost 500 years old, but it is still fascinating.

Fashion designer and cultural project organiser J. Janus, along with like-minded individuals, conceived of telling the love story of Barbara Radziwiłł and Sigismund Augustus in a contemporary way. A collection of design works recreates the love, splendour, luxury, secrets, sighs, tastes, and scents of these two Renaissance figures.
