The Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania museum invites you to celebrate a rare anniversary together. On 6 December we will mark the 500th anniversary of the birth of Barbara Radziwiłł, Grand Duchess of Lithuania and Queen of Poland, the museum said in a press release.

On this occasion, perhaps one of the most romantic love stories will be reborn in the palace. The Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania Museum has prepared surprises recalling the feelings between Barbara Radziwiłł and Sigismund Augustus, Grand Duke of Lithuania and King of Poland, that were born in this palace half a millennium ago, the lovers’ secret meetings and the wedding that crowned their love story.
